Comics Legend Gene Colan Passes Away at Age 84
Writer Clifford Meth has shared the sad news that legendary comics artist Gene Colan passed away today, at age 84. According to Meth, Gene spent this last week in a quasi-coma state following a broken hip and complications from liver disease.
I am honestly a little lost for words. This is devastating news. Gene’s work on titles like Daredevil, Howard the Duck, Detective Comics, and Tomb of Dracula was legendary, and this is a sad lost for the comics industry.
My sincerest condolences go out to his family. He will be missed.
