War of the Green Lanterns Parts 1-3 Sell Out and Go Back for Second Printing

DC Comics have announced that they have sold out and gone back to press on Parts 1-3 of their mega-crossover event, War of the Green Lanterns. The specific issues that have sold out at the distribution level are: Green Lantern #64, Green Lantern Corps #58, and Green Lantern: Emerald Warriors #8.

I’m not really surprised that they are seeing good sales on these titles. Geoff Johns has made the Green Lantern titles into quite the money maker for DC over the last couple of years, and after the huge success of the Sinestro Corps War and Blackest Night events, it was a pretty sure thing that fans were going to be scrambling to pick this one up.

Normally, publishers put together a nice press release for huge sellout announc3ements like this, but unfortunately, DC’s Marketing department is pretty lacking!

Remember that just because these issues have sold out at the distribution level, it doesn’t mean that your store won’t have them, so give them a call to check availability!
