Michael Clarke Duncan to Voice Kilowog in the Green Lantern Movie
The Hollywood Reporter has the scoop that Michael Clarke Duncan is in negotiations to voice the character of Kilowog in Warner Bros.’s Green Lantern movie.
Rumours have been circulating for a few weeks that the studio was eying Duncan for the role, although no offer had been made. THR‘s sources say Duncan received his offer Tuesday and is now negotiating.
Kiliwog is set to be a completely CG generated character in the movie, hence the late casting. The other CG character in the movie is Tomar-Re, who it was recently announced, will be voiced by Geoffrey Rush.
Green Lantern will hit screens on June 17th, 2011.
