F.A.C.T.S Bites Down With Actress Charisma Carpenter
FACTS is very proud to announce Buffy-actress Charisma Carpenter as the first guest to the best Belgium venue there is!
Charisma Carpenter is best known for playing the character Cordelia Chase in the television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer and its spin-off Angel, for which she was nominated for four Saturn Awards. Her most recent role was playing opposite Sylvester Stallone and Jason Statham in The Expendables (2010).
Charisma’s career went from Baywatch to Malibu Shores and after being one of the lead characters in both Buffy as well as the spin-off Angel. Charisma also went on to play in Charmed and Veronica Mars. After the success of The Expendables, Carpenter was cast as the lead female character in Michael Madsen’s The Human Factor.

“I have always been a fan of Buffy and the more manly series Angel and to have an influential actress like Charisma coming to our venue… well, you can tell how excited that makes me”, said Emmanuel van Melkebeke, F.A.C.T.S. Convention Director. “I am looking forward to presenting her to the fans in Belgium and seeing the enthusiastic response the fans from France, Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands will be sure to show!”
Many more guests, including artists and actors, are still to be announced.
The current list of artists also tied to the convention consists off Minck Oosterveer, Aleksi Briclot, Romano Molenaar and regular guest cartoonist Lectrr.
F.A.C.T.S Comicon is the signature pop culture event of the Benelux, presenting guests and programming to cater for the top segments of the comics, anime, sci-fi, film, TV, and gaming industries.
Entering its 21th edition, F.A.C.T.S. is expected to draw over 16,000+ attendees to its October 22-23, 2011 convention held at the Gent Flanders Expo Convention Center located in Gent, Belgium.
The show will again sport 12,000 square meters and will host over a mile of dealers of toys, comics, movie merchandise, fantasy merchandise, manga and will see 400+ cosplayers and a cos’play competition, life size props, Star Wars diorama, LEGO sets, model kit exhibitions, an entire fan-village, huge game zone with dozens of consoles, as well as loads of surprises, to brighten up the already amazing venue!
