Voting is Now Open for the 2011 Eagle Awards!
Voting is now open for the 2011 Eagle awards! The top five nominations from each category have now been picked, and fans are now able to vote for who they think should win. The awards will be held on the evening of 27 May at the London MCM Expo.
I have listed the nominees below, but I have to admit that they’ve done a pretty bad job of weeding the crap out of the nominations. To start with, one of the nominees in the Favourite Writer/Artist category is “Favourite Writer/Artist”! Then there’s stupid things like the fact that Bryan Lee O’Malley is in both the Favourite Newcomer writer, and artist categories! Come on, how is he a “new comer”? His first comic was published in 2003, that’s 8 years ago! Same with Sean Murphy and Al Ewing. Hell, Paul Cornell has been writing for nearly 20 years now!
egads!
