Steve Niles’ Remains Gets Screen Adaptation
It looks like the Chiller Network, a horror themed cable channel, is currently developing a feature film based on the plot of Remains - a 2004 IDW graphic novel by Steve Niles and Kieron Dwyer.
Remains, tells the story of a blackjack dealer and an exotic dancer who are trapped in a post-apocalyptic Reno casino by a plague of zombies.
The adaptation is being directed by Colin Theys, who is shooting a script written by John Doolan. The project is being produced by Andrew Gernhard. The production is set to start filming in June in Connecticut.
Gerhard says that the film will premiere on Chiller this fall after a limited theatrical release.
