In an interview with MTV Splashpage, Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez have confirmed the rumour that Ksenia Solo has joined the cast of the upcoming TV adaptation of Locke & Key.

Ksenia Solo, who is best known for her work on TV shows Life Unexpected and Lost Girl,will play the role of the mysterious girl in the well (Dodge).

Solo joins a cast that includes Jesse McCartney as Ty Locke, Sarah Bolger as Kinsey Locke,  Miranda Otto as Nina Locke,  Nick Stahl as Duncan Locke, Skylar Gaertner as Bode Locke, and Harrison Thomas as a teenager possessed by an evil spirit.

Mark Romanek is directing the pilot episode for Fox, which began filming at the mansion in Hartwood Acres and in Ellwood City, Pennsylvania in February 2011. Fox will make a decision in May about adding the series to the network’s late 2011 schedule, which would result in 12 additional episodes being ordered.
