Dallas Cowboys’ Jason Witten Comes to Riverdale High to Talk About Underage Drinking
Archie Comics has become more socially relevant then ever before! Keeping up with modern trends and telling stories that include all elements of high school life.
As part of a national program partnering with Mothers Against Drunk Driving and PowerTalk 21, Riverdale High will have a powerful speaker to talk about the dangers of teen drinking.
Jason Witten, tight end for the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys is touring high schools around the country explaining the dangers of teen drinking. He will arrive at Riverdale High in Archie Double Digest #217, out this week.
“Archie has always kept up with the times. This story is entertaining, and it gets the message across at the same time. The idea here is prevention. To prevent kids from drinking” said Victor Gorelick, president and editor-in-chief of Archie Comics.
