Another Accident on the Set of of Spider-Man: Turn off the Dark
The New York Times is reporting that there has been another accident on the set of Spider-Man: Turn off the Dark, as actress T.V. Carpio has suffered from an undisclosed injury, during a preview performance on Wednesday, March 16.
Carpio is the fifth person known to suffer an injury while working on the musical since the fall. The New York State Department of Labor has issued two safety violations against the makers of the Broadway musical, in relation to several accidents that occurred last year during rehearsals, which resulted in injuries to performers.
An understudy, America Olivo, has been performing as Arachne and will continue to do so while Carpio is out. If I were her, I’d wear head protection when on stage!
