Todd Klein Chooses Comics’ Greatest Logos for CBR
Yesterday, CBR posted a fascinating article by Todd Klein, which looks at which comic logos are the greatest of all time; focusing on which he believes have had the greatest impact, are instantly recognizable, and have withstood the test of time.
Todd Klein is one of the greatest letterers in the history of comics, so I found his thoughts on this to be incredibly interesting. Well, maybe only interesting to typographic nerds like myself. For the record his picks for the best logos were:
- Superman
- Batman
- Spider-Man
- Action Comics
- Wolverine
- Tarzan
- Mickey Mouse
- Donald Duck
- Archie
- Hellboy
- The Flash
- Peanuts
