Steve Niles’ First Creator-Owned Spotlight Column Goes Live on Robot 6
Because I love creator-owned comics so much, I’m actually going to send readers over to another website! That’s right, you should all head on over to CBR’s Robot 6 blog, where you can read the first installment of Steve Niles’ new creator-owned spotlight column.
Steve was invited to write this column for CBR, after he caused a bit of uproar in the comics community due to a post that he made on his blog, which championed creator-owned comics. Each week in the column, Steve will be highlighting the work of writers and artists who release creator-owned projects, starting this week with profiles on Mike Mignola and Joshua Fialkov.
I’m always promoting creator-owned work on this site, so I’m happy to tell readers to head over to read the column, and to check back at Robot 6 for future installments.
Also make sure to check out this week’s Creator-Owned Comics Shopping List to find out what creator-owned books should be avaible to purchase when you hit the comic shop for your weekly dose.
