Little Britain‘s Lou & Andy Meet The Beano‘s Dennis the Menace for Comic Relief
In a special Red Nose Day issue of BeanoMAX, the comic’s long-running Dennis the Menace character has met with popular Little Britain characters, Lou and Andy.
In the strip, the pair, played in the sketch show by David Walliams and Matt Lucas, end up in the middle of a talent show with Dennis, and inevitably, hilarity ensues!
The special charity issue, which goes on sale today, also stars several other British celebrities, including Alexandra Burke, Emma Bunton, Rupert Grint, Jedward, and John Bishop.
David Walliams, who plays Little Britain‘s Lou, has been quoted as saying that he was thrilled to have been immortalised in the long-running comic strip. “I’ve said yes to a lot of things in the name of Red Nose Day but this was by far the least painful,” he quipped. “No swimming cap, no cycling shorts, I didn’t even have to pick up a pencil - the Beano team did all the work.
He went on to say that, “Lou and Andy have now fulfilled every boy’s childhood dream - to hang out with Dennis the Menace in Beano Town. I can’t wait to see who was a bigger menace, Dennis or Andy.”
