From the Desks of Adrian Tomine and Marc Johns!
The website http://fromyourdesks.com/, specializes in creator interviews, which focus on the creative process, and the space in which creators work. They have just informed me of an interview that they just conducted with Adrian Tomine, the creator of the recently released graphic novel, Scenes from an Impending Marriage, which is released through Drawn & Quarterly. It’s a fascinating interview, and I would recommend it to anyone who is a fan of Tomine’s work, or even those who are just interested in how other artists create. You can check it out at http://fromyourdesks.com/2011/02/04/adrian-tomine/
I’ve never seen this site before, but I’m going to bookmark it now, because Kate Donnelly has some fascinating interviews on there. I was also pleased to see that they have an interview with Marc Johns on there. I actually know Marc in real life, and we both work for the same company in our day jobs! Our house is covered in Marc Johns prints Checkout that interview at http://fromyourdesks.com/2011/01/28/marc-johns/, and see Marc’s website at http://www.marcjohns.com/
