Andrew Lazar & Platinum Studios to Adapt Top Cow’s ‘VICE’

1

Deadline.com is reporting that Platinum Studios (Cowboys & Aliens), has joined forces with Andrew Lazar and Top Cow Productions to turn the Top Cow comic Vice into a live action feature film.

Andrew Lazar will produce the movie  with Platinum Studios chairman/CEO Scott Mitchell Rosenberg, and Randy Greenberg will be exec producer with Top Cow’s Matt Hawkins and Marc Silvestri.

Vice (or V.I.C.E.) was a five-issue comic series that was created by Top Cow President Matt Hawkins, and published between 2005 and 2006.

I have to admit that I’ve never even heard of this series, let alone read it. According to Deadline, “Vice tells the story of hard-core teen felons who join the FBI’s Critical Response Unit as a way to clear their records. Their bad attitudes and formidable powers make them as dangerous as the bad guys they pursue.”
