The Darrell Dixon Character from The Walking Dead TV Show may Appear in the Comics
According to Allvoices.com, there is a rumour running around that Norman Reedus’ character, Daryl Dixon, from The Walking Dead TV show, may well be appearing in upcoming issues of The Walking Dead comic book series.
Apparently Reedus himself tweeted the article on his (locked) Twitter account, and said that the character may be added to the comic due to the success of the show and specifically, the overwhelming popularity of his character. It is also speculated that writers want to keep the character in the show, because he is seen as being vital to the survival of the group, and adding him to the comic series may cement his position in series.
Hmm, I’m not sure that I buy this rumour… it seems pretty unlikely that they would make changed to the comic, based on the success of the show, but then again, stranger things have happened. Still, I’d take this one with a grain of salt…
