Mack, Azaceta, Crain, and More Guests Announced for Emerald City Comicon 2011
The 9th Annual Emerald City Comicon will be held from March 4th - 6th, 2011, at the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle, WA. With the con only a month and a half away, new guests are being added to the roster every few days. To see the full list of guests at this year’s show, head to http://www.emeraldcitycomicon.com/.
The guest list for this year’s ECCC is looking phenomenal! It’s starting to look pretty much like my wishlist of creators to meet. If you are heading to the show, I’ll see you there!

DAVID MACK is the creator/writer/artist of Kabuki and a well known cover artist. He writes Electric Ant, Dream Logic, plus a critically acclaimed run on Daredevil (which he illustrated as well) which introduced the popular character Echo. |
RAINA TELGEMEIER is the Eisner award-winning creator of Smile (A Dental Drama). Along with DAVE ROMAN (Agnes Quill, Astronaut Academy, Teen Boat), they create graphic novel adaptations of Ann M. Martin’s The Baby-sitters Club series. |
PAUL AZACETA is the current artist of Amazing Spider-Man, plus Daredevil, Exiles, Namor, New Exiles, 24Seven, B.P.R.D. 1946, Punisher Noir, Potter’s Field, Captain Marvel, Grounded, Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe A to Z & Talent. |
CLAYTON CRAIN is the artist of Carnage, X-Force, Astonishing X-Men, The Darkness, Ghost Rider, No Honor, Moon Knight, Sam and Twitch, Sensational Spider-Man, Shadowland: Ghost Rider, Venom vs. Carnage, Wolverine: Weapon X Files, X Necrosha. |
JASON PALMER is a commercial illustrator who works on a variety of projects - everything from Star Trek comic books, to prop art for TV shows, licensed artwork for Warner Bros., and Lucasfilm properties like Star Wars and Indiana Jones. |
Other guests include ALLEN GLADFELTER (Cars), AMY MEBBERSON (Monsters Inc.), JAMES SILVANI (Darkwing Duck), SAL ABBINANTI (Atomika), JEFF KRELL (Jaysin), FORD GILMORE (Thundercats) and CHRISSIE ZULLO (Cinderella: From Fabletown With Love). Also, due to a scheduling conflict, Ron Garney will be unable to appear.
