American Vampire to Get Spin-Off Miniseries Illustrated by Sean Murphy
Starting with issue #13 in March, American Vampire begins an epic WWII storyline, which Vertigo describe as a sprawling, romantic, action-packed tale of heroism and horror. To coincide with this story arc, Vertigo will be launching an America Vampire mini-series that will tie-in with the events in the main title. The artist for the project has been announced as Sean Murphy, who has also provided a stunning variant cover for American Vampire #13 (pictured below).
No title has yet been announced for the series as yet, nor has a firm release date, but one thing is for sure, if it’s anything like the previous dozen issues of the series, it is sure to be unmissable! Scott Snyder has really come up trumps with this series, and it’s one of the best new titles of the last year. In a market saturated with vampire stories this title really stands out from the competition, courtesy of its original concept, strong storytelling, and gorgeous artwork!
