Dark Horse Presents Returns to Print in 2011!
The site has been down for a couple of days, so I wasn’t able to share this exciting piece of news. Dark Horse have decided to bring Dark Horse Presents back to print!
Dark Horse Presents was the first comic book published by Dark Horse Comics in 1986 and was their flagship title until its September 2000 cancellation. The title was an anthology, and featured such well know creations as Paul Chadwick’s Concrete, John Byrne’s Next Men, and Frank Miller’s Sin City.
Dark Horse Presents was Dark Horse’s longest running title, and provided a mix of material from established and new creators. The title ended with issue #157 in September 2000.
Volume 2 of Dark Horse Presents was available online through MySpace, and has featured contributions by Joss Whedon, Gerard Way, Mike Mignola, and many more.
Now though, Dark Horse have decided to bring the title back to print for volume 3, and it looks like there are some familiar faces along for the ride, with the cover to issue #1 featuring Concrete, and a preview of Frank Miller’s new title, Xerxes!
