DC Comics Presents a Blackest Friday Sale!
I just saw this over on DC’s blog, and the title of the sale made me laugh, so I thought I’d share it on here, because it’s a pretty smart angle on the whole Black Friday sales thing.
For 24 hours (from at midnight EST on Friday Nov 26th to Midnight EST on Saturday Nov 27th), DC will be offering every chapter of the New York Times-bestselling Blackest Night series, from writer Geoff Johns and artist Ivan Reis for $.99 each at the DC Digital Comics Store and via the DC Comics App and the Comixology App (both available via iTunes). After this “Blackest Friday” deal, though, prices will return to their standard $1.99 and $2.99 price point.
That’s a pretty decent deal, and if you’ve not read the series, I’d say it’s definitely worth picking it up at that price!
