Write Brothers, Inc. Announces Appearance at New York Comic Con

Academy Award winning Software Company announces plans to host a panel at the 2nd largest convention in the country.

Write Brothers, Inc., (http://www.screenplay.com) developers of the Academy Award-winning software for writers, announced today they will be exhibiting at the 2nd largest comic book convention, New York Comic Con. In operation as a software design company specifically for writers, Write Brothers plans a myriad of events to share with the convention’s attendees.

Chris Huntley is Vice President of Write Brothers Inc. He is also the co-creator of Dramatica, an acclaimed theory of story and the basis of the popular Movie Magic Screenwriter and Dramatica Pro software. Chris regularly teaches workshops and classes on story structure and development. And New York Comic Con is no exception.

Chris is hosting a panel on Friday October 8th entitled Writing Action Packed and Character Driven Stories. In this exciting discussion also featured at San Diego Comic Con, Chris discusses exploration of the Eight Essential Questions of Character and Plot. Does your main character change his essential nature or stay the course? How do characters grow? What brings your story to a climax? Does your story end in tragedy, triumph, or somewhere in between? Find out the answer to these questions and ask some of your own!

Chris will also be appearing throughout the entire convention weekend at the company’s exhibitor booth #2462. Celebrating the 10th Anniversary Edition of Dramatica: A New Theory of Story, Chris will be signing copies and addressing questions from writers on story development and theory. Dramatica: A New Theory of Story is the definitive guide to the most profoundly original and complete paradigm of story since Aristotle wrote Poetics, and serves as the basis for the company’s popular software for writers.

To promote the company’s other projects, the Write Brothers staff will be raffling year-long subscriptions to MovieMaker Magazine, the leading magazine on the art and business of making movies. Attendees can register to win throughout the convention weekend.
