Kieron Gillen Joins Matt Fraction as Co-Writer of Uncanny X-Men
Holy Crap, talk about awesome news! Kieron Gillen is joining Matt Fraction as writer of Uncanny X-Men! I love Kieron’s writing, and was a bit upset when it was announced that Fraction would be taking over from him on Thor, but I also love Matt’s writing, so it was all good. Now Marvel have decided to put these two amazing writers together on one of my favourite series. Does it get better than that?!
I bet you a dollar that in six month’s time Kieron is sole writer on the title. Marvel have a habit of doing that. In fact. Fraction was co-writer of Uncanny with Ed Brubaker for about six month, before he took over completely. Mark my words!

Marvel is proud to announce that newly-exclusive writer Kieron Gillen (Thor, Generation Hope) will join Eisner-winning, superstar writer Matt Fraction as co-writer on Uncanny X-Men! Beginning with Uncanny X-Men #531, Fraction and Gillen pit the X-Men against what may be their greatest threat yet—the loss of their powers at the hands of the Sublime Corporation, as the malevolent force puts into action its master plan!
