PREVIEWS Next: October Issue Spotlights Dark Horse’s Let Me In: Crossroads #1 and DC’s MAD Magazine #507

New issue arrives in comic shops September 29 and features products on sale beginning December
2010

(BALTIMORE, MD) — (September 15, 2021) — This October, the old adage that looks can be deceiving will be horrifically reinforced with the theatrical debut of Let Me In. Fans of this sophisticated horror film will then have the opportunity to learn more about main character Abby, a vampire trapped in the mind and body of a child, in December with Dark Horse Comics’ LET ME IN: CROSSROADS #1 – the start of the official prelude comic book series that’s spotlighted on the front cover of October’s PREVIEWS, the comic shops’ catalog.

With Let Me In, director Matt Reeves (Cloverfield) and star Chloe Moretz (Kick‐Ass) present audiences with the story of a bullied boy from a quiet town that finds his only friend in Abby, who will teach him how to stand up for himself. Moviegoers that walk away from Let Me In wanting to know more about this vampiric girl’s backstory should turn to Dark Horse’s prelude mini‐series, which finds Abby and her caretaker troubled by the greed of a real‐estate tycoon willing to do anything to take ownership of the property they call home.

On a much lighter note, October PREVIEWS’ back cover features a teaser for DC Comics’ MAD MAGAZINE #507, the issue presenting 2010’s MAD 20, the magazine’s listing of the dumbest people, events, and things of the year.
