Zombieland Writers Set to Script Upcoming Deadpool Movie
Variety.com are reporting that 20th Century Fox has tapped Zombieland scribes Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick to pen the screenplay for the upcoming X-Men spin-off, Deadpool.
The film is set to star Ryan Reynolds as the ‘merc with the mouth’, who will be reprising the role he played in 2009′s X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Lauren Shuler Donner is set to produce the movie.
According to Variety, there is currently no time-line set for the movie, but Reynolds has a window free in his schedule after wrapping up filming on DC/Warner’s Green Lantern this summer.
