PREVIEWS Next: Spotlighting Marvel’s Invincible Iron Man #25 and DC’s Brightest Day #0
February issue arrives in comic shops Jan. 27 and features products on sale beginning April 2010
(BALTIMORE, MD) — (December 16, 2021) — Helping Marvel Comics celebrate a milestone for one of its beloved titles, February’s PREVIEWS spotlights INVINCIBLE IRON MAN #25 on its front cover and is scheduled to arrive in comic shops and other specialty stores on January 27. As many will no doubt notice from the PREVIEWS cover, Invincible Iron Man #25 gives readers their first look at all-new Iron Man armor, which will be donned by Tony Stark going forward. With previous Invincible Iron Man storylines, writer Matt Fraction and artist Salvador Larroca tore Stark down both physically and mentally. Now, with the 25th issue, Iron Man fans will see them build him back up at last.
February PREVIEWS’ back cover should demand just as much attention, as its dedicated to DC Comics’ BRIGHTEST DAY #0, the start of a 26-issue, bi-weekly series that follows the conclusion of Blackest Night. After following the story of Blackest Night as crafted by Green Lantern’s Geoff Johns and Green Lantern Corps writer Peter Tomasi, fans will see the aftermath and its impact on the entire DC Universe with this new series from those same scribes.
Plus, don’t miss these February PREVIEWS editorial features:
FLIPside Featured Theme: “I Love You, Man: Comic Book Bromances” – Spider-Man and Wolverine; Superman and Jimmy Olsen; Hal Jordan, Oliver Queen, and Barry Allen. Throughout comics, readers have seen a number of so-called “bromances” blossom, as some of the greatest characters work together and form bonds readers remember fondly. In honor of February’s Valentine’s Day holiday, PREVIEWS salutes – sans chocolates and flowers – some of the greatest comic team-ups.
Sneak Peeks: In February, comic fans are given a glimpse of Dark Horse Comics’ Hellcyon #1 and Image Comics’ Light #1, Magdalena #1 from Top Cow Productions, and Turf #1. Plus: Staff Picks, Our Top 100 Comics and Bestseller Charts, and much more!
February PREVIEWS’ Gems of the Month
In February, the PREVIEWS Gems of the Month include: Dark Horse Comics’ Hellcyon #1 and Art of Blade the Immortal HC, DC Comics’ Brightest Day #0 and Vertigo’s Neil Young’s Greendale, Image Comics’ Turf #1 and Top Cow Productions’ Magdalena #1, Marvel Comics’ Ultimate Comics: Avengers 2 #1, and Wizard Entertainment’s Wizard #224.
