DC Announces The Fox by Brandon Jerwa and Michael Avon Oeming
DC Comics have announced that the next Red Circle character to be brought into the DC Universe is The Fox.
The Fox will be appearing as a co-feature in The Shield, replacing the current co-feature, Inferno. The Fox will be written by Brandon Jerwa, and will feature artwork by Michael Avon Oeming.
This new version of the character is named Paul Patten Jr., (like the second Blue Ribbon Fox) and is a film director from Seattle. The solicitation for the first issue has the character heading from Seattle to the underbelly of Tokyo gangster life, caught up in a mission to discover the truth behind his late father’s adventures, but becomes the modern embodiment of the Kitsune totem known as the Fox!
